Throughout the event, Eichler owners delighted in sharing photos of their houses, memories and experiences with others. This couple (at left) had their Los Altos home photographed by Ernie Braun in the late 1960's, and they kept a scrapbook of images. The pictures were used in a Life magazine spread. Other Eichler owners at the event include a couple who bought their 1950 Eichler from Joe himself, and were excited to find photos of their house in the exhibit. One man who grew up in Atherton told stories of playing in the Eichler family home as a child. Others remembered being owners of one of the "bulls-eye" houses in the Fairmeadow development in 1953, which was distinguished by a circular street layout.
